Hi. We met Bill in 1982 when he posted his cabin in the Adirondacks for sale. I worked in the Student Activities Office at Pratt Institute and his niece brought in his ad to be approved for posting. I immediately contacted the number on the ad to meet with .Bill in the purchase of the cabin. We LOVED THE CABIN AND BILL. He gave us a very detailed tour of his area of the Adirondacks and the cabin and his life history and his philosophy.. Long story short, we are now the owners of his cabin going on 41 years. I remembered that he moved to Hawaii and have tried to contact him to say hello. Our daughter is now in Hawaii teaching an Acroyoga course in Hilo, Hawaii. i thought he may like to meet her, so searched for Bill only to find this really awesome memorial and at same time were so sad to find that he had passed over 2 years ago. Thank you so much for this memorial for Bill. We have taken good care of his cabin. Put on a new metal roof and added stained glass lamps and sandblasted designed windows we thought he would be proud of. His old 1950s refrigerator is still working great. Our neighbors remember him as "the crazy Hawaiian' and still had his gift of the tabletops from converted wire rolls. He is definitely not forgotten in this small community area of the Adirondacks
