He was a carpenter, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg of the US Army during the Vietnam War, and a graduate of the Kauai Community College. Private services. He is survived by spouse, Virginia "Nia" Van Phalan of Mt. View, HI; brother, Michael David Fox of Volcano, HI; an aunt; numerous nieces and nephews.
