Rosemary Coughlin passed away peacefully in Hawaii on November 20, 2018, at the age of 87. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert William Coughlin 1st, son Richard Anthony Coughlin, and grandsons Brent Daniel Coughlin and Robert William Coughlin III. Survived by her seven children. Robert William Coughlin II, James Patrick Coughlin II, Tina Mary Orr, Tonya Marie Miller, Tamara Marcella Collins. Joseph Wayne Coughlin and Jay Hutchinson Coughlin. Rose will be fondly remembered by her 61 grandchildren including great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Rose is also survived by her brother Michael Ronald Scott and her two best friends, Sylvia Arnold (friends for 82 years) and Yvonne Hawk. Many extended family and friends. Everyone loved Rosemary! Rosemary was a world traveler and lived for her family. She followed her husband Robert W. Coughlin 1st. (Sergeant 1st Class, Special Forces - Green Beret) around the world, taking their 8 children to Japan, Europe and central America to live. She loved animals, especially birds and dogs. She had a bird, "Willie Nelson," for 32 years! She had a wit and charm that stayed with her till the end. A huge L.A. Lakers fan, Rose’s star player was Kobe Bryant! It was fun to watch the games with a 4’ 7”, 75 pound Grandma calling the shots. In January 2019, Rosemary's ashes will be taken to her final resting place at Riverside National Cemetery in California, to be interred with her loving husband Bob.
