Alice Kieko Furusho's Obituary
Alice Kieko Furusho, 94, of Waikoloa, died July 22 at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. Born in Hilo, resided in Pahala after marriage and had her own business as the only hairdresser for many years, serving the community until retirement. She and husband Goichi (deceased) also managed the movie theater. Enjoyed baking, hula and Vegas. Private services. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by daughters Karleen Shibuya and Jo-Ann Rew of Honolulu, Lois (Andre) Ajimine of Waikoloa; Grand-children, Jeramie (Diana) and Jarin Furusho, Kyle (Ashley) and Jineane Shibuya, Vahid and Tahirih Ajimine; Stepgrand-children, Mihdi and Quddus Ajimine and Emiko Joy; three great-grandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren, two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
