He worked as a logger, home builder, carpenter, plumber and all around renaissance man. Allan put time and effort into his relationships. He was a step-parent, husband, friend, dependable neighbor and valued community member. He lived his life with total independence, indebted to no one, with a friendly hand to offer and a genuine desire to impact the world in a meaningful way. He is loved and his lessons will live on with all those he taught.
