Andrew "Willie" Williams Bogue's Obituary
Andrew “Willie” Williams Bogue, a recent transplant to Pahoa, HI, from Portland, OR, was a beloved husband, son, and animal rights advocate. He passed away on February 28, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion. He is survived by his loving wife, Mikki, and his devoted parents, Steve and Leslie.
Born on July 20, 1975, Willie’s passion for running through forest and the jungle never waned. He was an advocate for animal rights, volunteering at local shelters and farm sanctuaries, and rescuing strays from the streets. His dogs were his confidantes, their wagging tails echoing the joy he found in their company.
Music was another thread woven into Willie’s life. He reveled in the eclectic sounds of Ween and Prince, and had many dance parties in the kitchen with his wife, Mikki.
As we bid farewell to Willie, we remember his laughter, his kindness, and the way he championed the voiceless. May his spirit continue to run alongside the wind, advocating for a world where compassion knows no bounds.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to local animal shelters in Willie’s honor. Let us honor his memory by extending kindness to all creatures, great and small.
