Anita Mae Andrade's Obituary
Anita Mae Andrade, 92, of Hilo, HI died June 6, 2026, at home. Born in Hilo, she was the Co-proprietor and office manager for the former Andrade & Andrade Auto Trim Shop, and was a loving and nurturing wife, mother and grandmother.
Survived by husband Clement Andrade, children, Clement Andrade II (dec.), Michael (Linda) Andrade, Michele (Patrick) Sweeney, William (Suzanne) Andrade, Patrick (Melissa) Andrade, Edward (Beth) Andrade, and Bernadette (Ahtagi dec.) Atagi; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; siblings Isabelle Difatta, John Basque, Frances Medeiros and Rita Lovato, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Papaikou. Rosary will begin at 8:45am, visitation at 9:00am, Mass at 10:00am with light lunch to follow in the parish hall. Private internment. In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts, memorial donations are requested to Hawaii Care Choices of Hilo.
