Anthony “Tony” Lili’uokalani Wise, 63, of Puna, HI, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at Pohai Malama. Also known as “Coach Tony”. He was born in Honolulu, HI on Nov. 20, 1954. He was an Executive Chef for Hawaii Naniloa Hotel, Youth Counselor for Salvation Army of Hilo and coach/founder of Puna Pistons Basketball Team. Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 @1784 Auwae Rd. Hilo, Visitation 10:00 to 11:00am, Celebration to follow. Family requests aloha attire. He is survived by spouse, Alice Wise of Hilo, HI; daughter, Napua (Jamie) Rosehill of Hilo, HI; 2 sons, Anthony (Ha’awina) Wise of Puna, HI and Jeremiah (Adelina) Wise of Puna, HI; 4 sisters, Bernadette (John) Kolvasick of Baltimore, MD, Edwina (Virgil) Kalaola of Kapolei, HI, Moana (Jason) Agliam of Ewa, HI, and Edwina Yoak of Galveston, TX; 4 brothers, Edwin (Marilyn) Wise of Nanakuli, HI, Travis (Jackie) Wise of Nanakuli, HI, David (Sonya) Wise of Waimanalo, HI, and Michael Burnett of Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
