Antoinette Geraldine Waiamau-Nunuha's Obituary
Antoinette Geraldine Waiamau-Nunuha, 75, of Nanakuli, HI, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Nanakuli, HI on December 17, 1938. She was a retired teacher at Waianae High School, instructor for Lanikuhonua Cultural Center, a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints – Keaau Ward, Waianae Lions Club, Waianae Neighborhood Board and Maili & Nanakuli Neighborhood Board. A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 9 am to 11 am at the Church of Latter Day Saints – Keaau Chapel; a memorial service will be held at 11 am. Other services will be held on Oahu at a later date. Family requests aloha attire. She is survived by 2 daughters, Lynnemabel Waiamau of Nanakuli, HI and Eleanormae (George) Davis of Nanakuli, HI; 3 sons, Lindy (Heidi) Waiamau Jr. of Pahoa, HI, James (Tammy) Waiamau of Keaau, HI, and James Shaver of Waipahu, HI; sister, Caroline Johnson of California; brother, Victor Leopoldo of Nanakuli, HI; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 9 am to 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Makakilo Ward; a Celebration of Life will follow. Family requests aloha attire.
