Betty McPherson's Obituary
Betty McPherson, 95, of Naalehu, passed away peacefully on May 30th, 2020 at home. She was born on January 28, 1925 in Central Lake, MI. She retired from being a loan officer at Berhends Bank in Juneau, Alaska to move to Naalehu, HI with her husband in 1981. She has been a Girl Scout Leader, a square dancer both in Alaska and Hawaii, and a member of Ocean View Baptist Church.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Harold McPherson of Naalehu; two daughters, Joyce McPherson of Port Townsend, WA and Sharon Madsen of Naalehu; three sisters, Doris, Dorothy, and Karen all of Michigan; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
