Bradley August Mason's Obituary
Bradley August Mason
It is with heartbreaking sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and nephew, Bradley August Mason, who died on June 6, 2026.
Bradley is survived by his loving mother, Dorina, and stepfather, Jeremy; his sisters, Sonya and Winnie; his brother, David; his niece, Lillie; his nephews, Cameron, Alexander, Jackson, Isaac, Zander, Jayden, Atom, and Ryker; his grandmothers, Gwenn and Jane; and his great-aunts, Caroline and Laura. While many others loved Bradley deeply, these are the family members who shared the closest bonds with him.
Bradley enjoyed traveling throughout the United States as well as Europe and Spain, where he embraced new cultures, met people from all walks of life, and sought out adventure. He viewed life with excitement and curiosity, always wondering what he could experience next.
In recent years, Bradley made his home in Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi, where he found peace, healing, and a sense of belonging following the loss of his father, Chad Mason. There, he built a life that brought him happiness and fulfillment.
Bradley worked for a company that provided underwater submarine tours for visitors and took pride in creating a peaceful home for himself. He loved spending time in the ocean, paddleboarding, snorkeling along coral reefs, and parasailing. One of his favorite moments was paddling out on the water, giving thanks to God for his life, his family, and the beauty surrounding him.
Those who knew Bradley will remember his vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and ability to light up any room. Many described him as one of the funniest people they had ever met. Even those who met him only once never forgot him. Bradley had a gift for making others laugh, bringing joy wherever he went. He was affectionate, compassionate, sincere, and deeply caring. His words of encouragement and kindness left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.
Bradley remained closely connected to his family, regularly keeping in touch and sharing his life with those he loved. He looked forward to welcoming his family to Hawaiʻi and showing them the life he had created for himself.
He will be missed every second of every minute of every hour of every day. Our hearts are forever broken, but our love for him will never fade. Until we are together again, Bradley, know that you are loved beyond measure and will remain in our hearts forever.
A private sunset ceremony for immediate family and close friends will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Honokōhau Harbor Beach, north of the boat ramps. The family is also working to arrange a Zoom service for those unable to attend in person. Details will be shared once they become available.
