Byron Keali’ihelepo Ayoso, age 71, passed away in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Born and raised in Kohala, Hawaiʻi, Byron later made his home in Hilo, where he spent his final years surrounded by family and love.
Byron proudly served in the United States Air Force, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and honor. After his military service, his greatest purpose and joy remained his family.
He was married for 48 years to the love of his life, Amanda Ayoso. Together they raised six children, building a life centered on faith, love, and togetherness. Byron was a devoted father and a proud papa to 17 grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense happiness.
Byron loved spending time with his family, cherishing both life’s simple moments and its most meaningful celebrations. His steady presence, warm heart, and deep love for his ohana will be remembered always.
He leaves behind a legacy of service, devotion, and unconditional love. Byron will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
