Catalino Noble's Obituary
Catalino Noble, 77, born in Hilo Hawaii, sadly left us on January 24, 2024 at home. He was born on May 11,1946 to Olivia and Pablo Noble (deceased). Catalino is survived by daughter Dana Freitas (Tony)of Hilo, son Marshall Noble (Iwalani) of Arizona, son Cliffton Noble (Krystal) of Hilo, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, brother Rudy Noble of Ohio and sister Margaret Noble of Hilo.
Catalino had numerous nicknames due to his feisty personality. He was also known to others as “Kats” to friends, “Uncle Kata” to his nieces and nephews, and Papa Calino to his grandchildren.
Upon graduating from Hilo High School in 1964, he retired as a Mason Worker. He also volunteered his time with the Living Waters Assembly of God by doing graveyard maintenance & landscaping and food bank assistance.
Catalino enjoyed fishing, shoreline and on a boat, especially on the Pomaikai boats. He would sometimes sleep on the boat moored at the Suisan pier to let his son in-law Tony know who’s coming in and out with fish while he was at work. He was considered the eagle eye.
He also would go out to eat, watch drag races, football and baseball games with his long time childhood friends Jerome Varize and Leroy Rayon. Thank you uncles for being a wonderful friend to him. He considered you both as his brothers.
While preparing for his end of life details we know that our dad did not want a funeral service. Spreading of his ashes will be private. We the family, would like to thank you for all the phone calls, visits and texts with comforting words and blessings upon us during this time. We are so appreciative for you being apart of his life.
“Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow”
