Chad Avery Cabral Chaves, 41, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kailua, Oahu on May 27, 1974. He was an employee of Onomea Orchards and Ohana Banana Co. He was a member of the New Hope Christian Fellowship (840 Kupulau Rd.). A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the New Hope Christian Fellowship from 10 am to 11 am; a memorial service will take place at 11 am. Family requests casual attire.
