Charles Kenzo Hashimoto, 83 of Waiohinu, Hawaii, died on October 1, 2019 at Pohai Malama. Born in Pahala, Hawaii he was a truck driver for Ka’u Agribusiness, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, member of USTA tennis league, ILWU bowling league, KMC bowling league and HI Low golf club.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at AJA Veterans Hall, in Hilo, Hawaii with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Family requests casual attire, no flowers.
He is survived by his wife Eunice Hashimoto of Waiohinu; son Randy (Blossom Caballero) Macomber of Kent, WA; two daughters Rene (Kevin) Allen of Honolulu and Jan (Alec Dedman) Hashimoto of Hilo; brother Susumu (Nancy) Hashimoto of Kaneohe; sister Sandra Saiki of Pearl City; sisters-in-law Mabel Kaipo of Pahoa, Ethel Nakamura of San Francisco, CA, Eleanor (Mervyn) Kokubon of Kailua, Oahu, and Joann (Roy) Tanimoto, of Hilo; 5 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
