My deepest sympathy for your loss
Charlie, we will miss your laughter and constant smile. We had so many fun times out to dinner as couples in Pahoa. You helped us rebuild after the eruption and this meant so much to us. Your family is our family and we love you all so much.

Charlie was a legend and a pioneer!! He left the Hudson and the Lenawee County area to become a success and that is what he did. He ruled Vegas in his early years there when it was a much smaller city. I remember in 1984 going to see him around the time the Tigers had won or were winning the World Series. He had a "pager" and I am thinking a pager what is that? Well, he must be important I figured to have a pager and one thing about Charlie was that he was important or at least he always thought he was!! LOL
Then he was off to Hawaii for warmth and sunshine and for grass that was greener as they say. Yes, he could do it all with his hands but he also had a keen business sense with his mind. Also, he was a larger than life figure who had stories to tell and he was great at embellishment of the stories.
He will be greatly missed. He was a Hudson Tiger who left to search for bigger and better things and he found those things that were bigger and better. Congrats to him and his wife, the pretty Clark girl from Adrian, for their success and courage to leave "home" and to do some very productive things with their lives.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him!!
