Clarence Valentine Aveiro Sr.'s Obituary
Clarence Valentine Aveiro Sr. a devoted patriarch and a man of steadfast character, peacefully transitioned to heaven to be with the Lord on April 4, 2026. He passed away in the comfort of his Hilo home, surrounded by family. Born on Oahu on Valentine’s Day in 1941, Clarence lived a life that embodied strength and heart. He was a tireless provider who viewed hard work as his ultimate labor of love. Motivated by a deep sense of duty to his family, he ensured that everyone was well taken care of, never resting until the needs of his loved ones were met. Clarence always held the head of the table, yet he took great pride in ensuring there was a seat and a place for everyone. Alongside his strong work ethic, he found peace and joy tending to his yard with the same patience and care he gave to his family.
Clarence’s legacy lives on through the family he raised with strength and pride. He is survived by his sons, Clarence “Babes” V. Aveiro Jr. (Deborah), Troy J. Aveiro (Vanessa), and Dean “Dino” J. Aveiro (Jenifer). He now joins his wife, the late Mae Jean Pua’ala Aveiro, and his son, the late Terence “Beep” T. Aveiro (Kimberly), in eternal rest. Clarence was further blessed with 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who knew him as Popi, all of whom carry a piece of his hardworking spirit and gentle soul. A man of quiet strength and a heart of gold, his labor of love will be felt for generations to come. Rest in peace, Popi; your work here is done, and your family remains secure in the love you built. At this time, there will be no funeral service.
