Clyde “Aku” Timoteo Canida, 68, of Keaau, HI, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Pohai Malama. He was born in Punene, Maui. He was an iron worker. A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 9 am to 10 am at New Hope Christian Fellowship (840 Kupulau Rd., Hilo); a Celebration of Life will take place at 10 am. Family requests casual attire. He is survived by 2 sons, Aaron (Princess) Canida of Hilo, HI and Gavin Canida of Hilo, HI; 3 sisters, Loretta Viduya of Pearl City, HI, Stephanie (Glenn) Eugenio of Mililani, HI, and Charladine (Patrick) Duhay of AZ; 2 brothers, Francis (Bobo) Lo of Kaneohe and Llewellyn (Darlene) Canida of Aiea, HI; sister-in-law, Irene Revilla of Mililani, HI; 2 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
