Cynthia Marie Viernes, 51, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu, HI on Feb. 24, 1964. She was a homemaker, CPS worker, maid for Heavenly Cleaning, bill collector at Penncro Associates’ and a member of the Glad Tidings Church. A visitation will take place on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 10 am to 11 am at the Solid Rock Pahoa Church; a memorial service will take place at 11 am. Family requests blue attire. She is survived by spouse, William Viernes of Hawaiian Beaches, HI; son, Michael (Lee Ann) Enriquez of Pahoa, HI; 2 daugthers, Melissa (Sheldon Waipa) Pagtama of Hawaiian Beaches, HI and Michelle Pagtama of Hilo, HI; mother, Candace Tacub of Hilo, HI; 3 sisters, Debra Vida of Hawaiian Beaches, HI, Susan (Nathan Shook) Yamamoto of Hawaiian Paradise Park, HI, and Ernestina (Craig Pinkney) Tacub of Hilo, HI; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
