Daniel Martin Kawaha, the son of the late Samuel and Truly Kawaha, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Hilo, Hawaii.
He is survived by his brother, Michael Kawaha of Hilo, HI; nephew, Michael Kawaha Jr. of Hilo, HI; nieces, Jovan Kawaha and Angela Kawaha of Las Vegas, NV; and his extended family: Kanui’s, Rowe’s, Evan’s, Poai’s, Iopa’s, Gaison’s, Hanohano’s, U’a’s, and Nau’s.
Daniel was a former employee at Royal Lahaina Resort, Waiakea Village, Kapalua Hotel, and Blue Hawaiian Helicopter. He also served as Administrator and Kahu Pono at Haili Church.
