Deborah Li‘ikapeka Lee, 66, of Hilo, died on December 15, 2025, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born in Hilo and a former resident of Fairbanks, Alaska and Seattle, Washington, she was a guest services attendant at the Outrigger Prince Kuhio Hotel in Waikiki and Uncle Billy’s Hotel in Hilo, Chair of Aha Hui O Opukaha‘ia, a floral arranger, and a former member of Haili Congregational Church. Visitation at 9:00 am on August 15, 2026, at Haili Congregational Church in Hilo. Service at 11:00 am. Survived by husband, Daniel Kihe; son, Keawe (Greece) Kihe of Arizona, and granddaughter, Kealakai Kihe; hanai sons, Iini McDonald of Kona, Napali (Skye) McDonald of Hilo, and Pono (Kyra) McDonald of Washington; hanai daughter, Kela (Maile) McDonald of Puna; brother, Darren (Cindy) Lee of Hilo; sisters, Drusilla Hualalai (Karl) Johsens of California, Derede Pikake (Kevin) Kimata of Honolulu, and Denby (Jerry) Toci of Kurtistown; brother-in-laws Bully (Ulu) Kihe of Texas, Herman (Kahea) Kihe of Kona, Wayne (Leesha Pelekane) Kihe of Kona, and (Ryan Matsunami) of Kona; sister-in-laws, Ernestine (Mervin) Hanato of Kona, Laverne (Richard) Kihe-Gonzales of Kona, Sharline (Patrick) Akeo of Kona, and Lorrin Kihe of Kona; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
