It is with great sadness that we share of the passing of our family patriarch, Dennis Kapua Sai who transitioned on November 21, 2025 surrounded by his ohana. He was fondly referred to as Daddy, Papa, Puna, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Dennis was born on January 8, 1939 to Evangeline Ikuwa and David Sai in Honolulu, Hawaii. They lived in Kuliouou Valley for many years until Nanea retired then as a family moved to Olaa, Hawaii Island. While in Kuliouou, they had 3 children, Keanu, Louie and Katherine. He enjoyed keeping busy and being involved in organizations like the Hawai Kai Jaycees, Hui Nalu Canoe Club (the Master’s crew), Aloha Week Festivals and Prince Kuhio Hawaii Civic Club and Choral group to name a few.
