He was a retired Recreation Manager for the Hawaii County Parks & Recreation Division. He is survived by spouse, Kelly Silva of Hilo, HI; daughter, Stacie (Sega) Ohmine of CA; son, Michael of Hilo, HI; hanai son, Ryan (Chrissy) Nases of Hakalau, HI; 2 hanai daughters, Natasha (Lorenzo) Cabbab of Moutain View, HI and Nicole (Jonathan) Bacdad of Keaau, HI; 2 grandchildren; 7 hanai grandchildren.
