Donna Renea Ferrari's Obituary
Donna R. Ferrari, 66, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 25, 2025. She was born in California on April 22, 1959, to her parents Donald and Mable Andres.
Donna was a simple but straight forward woman. She kept her family and friends close. But once you were considered either one, she loved you unconditionally. Often showing up for her loved ones when others could not. Her heart understood that everyone needed someone every now and then and she did her best to be that person for everyone she loved.
Donna moved to Mountain View, Hawaii in the early nineties. She began creating a new life for herself and her three children. This is where she met her true love and partner of over 30 years; Chester Rabusitz Sr. They made a bold decision to blend their families and raised seven children together. They watched lovingly as their family continued to grow with a combination of twenty-two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, at the time of her passing.
Donna enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and getting as much of the family together as she could for the holidays. She also enjoyed making crafts and instilling this passion in her daughters and granddaughters. Donna also enjoyed going to the beach with her dog and collecting shells, sea glass, and driftwood. She enjoyed spending time with Chester just hanging out and occasionally travelling. She was a woman who always tried her best even if she was not sure, her heart was always in the right place.
Most who knew her would consider Donna a great friend and sister. She was always there to listen to anything you wanted to talk about and had no problems sharing her opinion with you if she thought you were wrong. That is why people loved her because she did not sugar coat anything, but she also did it with love.
Although as a family we are heartbroken with her passing one thing we can find comfort in, is that she would always tell us to “Suck it up, Buttercup!” and would want us to move forward.
Donna is survived by her partner Chester Rabusitz. Sr. and her three children and four bonus children.
