Edward Tadashi Doi, 92, of Keaukaha passed away on August 26, 2022 at home. Born on Oahu, he was retired from Pacific Island Flooring and Hilo Municipal Driving Range and a member of Wiki Wiki Golf Club and Police Golf Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Hilo Municipal Driving Range from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a service to follow. Casual attire.
Survived by his wife, Beverly P. Doi of Keaukaha; daughters Sandy (Rodney) Lau of Waikoloa, Miriam Kanaeholo of Hilo, Randa-Lynn "Ui" Kaupu of Hilo, and Reinette "Ipo" (Mel Kelekolio) Morgan of Kailua-Kona; sons Leslie Doi of Oahu, Hiram Kawelu of Washington, and Robert (Lono Padilla) Kaupu IV of Oahu; sister Elizabeth Kiyota of Palolo; brothers George Doi of Manoa, Robert Doi of Pearl City, Kenneth (Joan) Doi of Pearl City and Douglas (Sandy) Doi of Pearl City; sister-in-law Miriam "Michi" Doi of Kailua; seventeen grandchildren and forty two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
