Elroy Osorio Sr.'s Obituary
Elroy Osorio, Sr. was born on September 6, 1924. He passed away at Hilo Medical Center on Monday, April 1, 2019. Elroy was in the Merchant Marines, a police officer, a lineman for Hawaiian Telephone, a real estate broker, a councilman for Hawaii County, a REALTOR, CCIM designee, served on the CCIM Board of Supervisors, a marketing representative for Title Guaranty, belonged to several Chambers of Commerce and led as Chamber President, was a current member of the Elks Club and Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, a long-time Republican and participated in the kupuna program in Keaukaha.
A visitation will be held at Haili Church on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 A.M.
He is survived by wife Delene, six children, Leoannalissa “Bebe” (Ah Lun Yung) Yung, Elroy T.L. (Jennifer) Osorio Jr. aka Tom, Dr. Jonathan (Mary) Osorio, David (Sweetie) Osorio, Matthew (Melissa Tasaki) Osorio and Emil “Ecko” (Carla) Osorio; step-daughter Christy (Regan Mizuguchi) Holt-Mizuguchi, sister-in-law Lani Osorio, niece Leolinda Kinard Parlin, twenty one grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
