Eva Morey, 101, died October 28, 2024, peacefully at home. Eva had been living with her granddaughter Amber Crabb and her husband Bryan Crabb, in Pahoa, Hawaii. Eva had been in their care for the last 5 years and 4 months.
Eva was born January 5, 1923, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to Chas (Charles) Bingham and Emma (Crawford) Bingham. Eva married Gilbert Morey in 1942, in Edna, Oklahoma, they welcomed the birth of a son David Lane Morey in 1944. They moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, and welcomed the birth of a daughter in 1947, Janis Jill (Morey) Lee. Eva worked for the Herald & News and Jeld Wen.
Survivors include, grandchildren, Amber (Lee) Crabb, of Pahoa, Hawaii; Natchez Lee of Romania; Jessica (Lee) Thompson of Springfield, Oregon; Shalako Lee of Cave Junction, Oregon; great – grandchildren Cinnamon and Aspen Crabb, Liberty Lee, Jamison and Mikey Thompson, Alya Arrowood and Sylys Michael.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Morey; son and daughter David Morey; Janis (Morey) Lee; brothers Earl and Harry Bingham; sister Ellsie Maye (Bingham) Van Sickle
