Evelyn Nobue Kubo's Obituary
EVELYN NOBUE KUBO, 86, of Hilo, died September 16, 2024. Born in Hilo, she was a retired cook for the Kaumana Baptist Church Keiki-land preschool, and was a CNA at Life Care Center of Hilo. She was a member of Waiakea Uka Bible Church, Hawaii County Senior program and Yamaguchi Kenjinkai. Her greatest joy was spending time with all of her grandchildren and socializing with her friends at the senior center and church family.
Private services to be held, no flowers or Koden.
Predeceased in death by loving husband, Kenneth Kubo. Survived by children, Violet (Mark) Miyaji, of Point Richmond, CA; Garret (Debra) Kubo of Arlington, TX; Randal (Dayle) Ishii and Peter Kubo of Hilo; brother-in-law, Kiyoshi "Bob"(Barbara) Kubo of Hakalau and sister-in-law, Yonsuk Nakamoto of Aiea Oahu; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
