Floyd Calvin Sale's Obituary
Floyd Calvin Sale, 67 of Hilo, Hawaii passed away on June 04, 2026, at
Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Cal, as everyone would call him, grew up
on O’ahu; his last residency was in Nanakuli before moving to Puna in
1995. He graduated from Nanakuli High School in 1978. From 8 years
old, Cal had worked for his father. He is a retired heavy equipment
operator and diesel mechanic for R&R Moss Rock. When he moved to
the Big Island, he became a man of more trades. He worked until his last
breath. Cal is a brain cancer survivor est 2014.He is survived by Mother, Kahu Abigail Leina’ala Nahinu Sale of Nanakuli. Aunty Yvonne Kato of Hilo. Brothers, Michael Jr. (Mel),Robert (Sarah). Sisters, Carolyn (Calvin) Nahinu, Michaeleen, Gayle,
Pastor Bonnie (Ed) Spencer, Danielle (Niki) Kanui, Michelle Ka’aihue.
Children, Tasha, Tanisha, Marlene (Kahale), Keahi, and Mandee. 21
grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A friend to all.
