Edna Mortenson
Frank was my husband's, Marv Mortenson, college roommate and close friend at North Dakota State University in Fargo during their football playing years, and also a high school teammate in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. After Mort, and I married, Frank became a close friend of mine also.
Over the 60-year span of friendship we shared many experiences, goals, ideals and conversations over the phone after he moved to Hawaii. We also visited him there, moving into his condo complex for a couple months and enjoyed his showing us all the sites of the big island. Our family joined us for a week and also got to know Frank.
We have so many good memories of Frank and are already missing our frequent phone calls with him. He was one of the best guys, caring, kind and always supportive. We will continue to miss him and give our condolences to Malia and Frank's family.
