He served in the U.S. Army Schofield Barracks, Oahu. Former Bar Manager for Apple Annie's Bar & Restaurant, Hilo. Survived by wife, Alana Fuiava Salatielu San Jose of Hilo. Sons, France A. (Linda) San Jose of Honokaa, Elton J. (Elaine) San Jose, Francisco I. (Crystal) San Jose, David P. San Jose, Daniel A. San Jose all of Hilo. A daughter Kahealani O. (Bryson) Gali of Las Vegas, Nevada. Brothers, Lino K. "Lin" San Jose, Glennon K. (April) Ahulau all of Hilo and Dale R.K. (Cathy) San Jose of Oregon. Sisters, Rosemarie B. San Jose, Laurie (Ermo) Ramos, April (Tracey Pacheco) San Jose, and Patty Shawn K. Ahulau all of Hilo. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
