Garfield Harding Rutt's Obituary
Garfield Harding Rutt passed away on October 7, 2019 in Hilo, Hawai’i at the age of 59. He was born February 27, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. A veteran of the United States Marines and was awarded Rifle Marksman Badge, Meritorious Mast, and Good Conduct Medal. Garfield was also a “Friend of Bill W” for 30 + continuous years and helped many others throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
A celebration of life will be held on November 16, 2019 at Kalapana Maunakea First Hawaiian Congregational Church, 14-3502 Kahoolawe Road, Nanawale Estates, Pahoa from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Inurnment services will be held on November 18, 2019 at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, 110 Laimana Street in Hilo at 9:00 A.M. Family requests casual attire.
He is survived by his sisters Velda Noto of Pennsylvania and Vicki Carter (Roger) of Delaware.
