George Tejada Sr.'s Obituary
George Tejada Sr., 57, of Keaau, died Dec. 28, 2017, at Pohai Malama Hospice of Hilo. Born on April 22, 1960, in Hilo, he was a truck driver, worked for Maku’u Farmers Market Association, and was a member of Sure Foundation Church.
Private services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by wife, Danielle Tejada of Hilo; six sons, George Tejada Jr. of Hilo, Andrew Yamauchi of Hilo, Justin (Chasity) Tejada of Kona, James Tejada of Hilo, Jesse Tejada of Hilo, and Samuel Martines of Waimanalo; four daughters, Laurisa SanJose-Ramos of Pahoa, Rebecca Martines of Hilo, Naomi Tejada of Hilo and Sarah Tejada of Hilo; three brothers, Malcolm (Betty Ann) Barcase of Honolulu, Stan (Dency) Barcase, and Alex (Debra) Tejada of Hilo; three sisters Doris Choriki of Montana, Marjorie Umuiwi, and Leona Fukuyama of Hilo; and two grandchildren.
