Glenn Yoshitake Kuwaye's Obituary
Glenn Yoshitake Kuwaye, retired President of Allied Aggregates Corp. and Hilo High alum, died on April 8, 2020 in his beloved hometown of Hilo at the age of 73. He was born on December 7, 1946 in Honokaa to James and Daisy Kuwaye. He was an avid golfer and car enthusiast known in high school to always have the coolest car in town. Glenn was a loving and generous father and grandfather who is survived and forever remembered by his wife, Tomoko Iwasa of Hilo; children, Michelle Knell and Glenn-Dee (Kaipo Kauffman) Kuwaye of Hilo, Amy (Alika) Cosner, Jennie (Cedric) Williams and Kimberly (Blaine Labra) Kuwaye of Honolulu and 13 grandchildren and four dogs. Also survived by numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, James Kuwaye and son-in-law, Sean Knell.
