Harold “Hal” Schwartz, 74, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 at the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Chicago, IL. He was a Prosecutor for Hawaii County, volunteer for Hospice of Hilo, volunteer for FEMA during the lava flow, advanced practitioner of yoga, board member of the Komohana Association, and Judge of the YWCA Teen Court. Private services to be held. He is survived by spouse, Belinda Cole-Schwartz of Hilo, HI; 3 sons, Benjamin (Kate) Schwartz of Seattle, WA, Rio Cole of Honolulu, HI, and Makoto Cole of Los Angeles, CA; 2 daughters, Rachel (Sam) Schwartz of Portland, OR and Melody Cole Gardiner (Chris) of Phoenix, AZ; 2 granddaughters. 1 grandson.
