Harry Heen Wah Lui's Obituary
Harry Heen Wah Lui, 96, passed away in his home in Waimea on January 16, 2021. Born on February 8, 1924 in Honolulu, he retired as a supervisor for the Fifteenth Field Maintenance at Hickam Air Force Base and was the owner of Pu'u Kapu Protea Farm and also raised cymbidium in Waimea on the Big Island. He was a Past Master of the Waikiki Lodge of the Lodge Le Progres de L'Oceanie F. & A. M. in Honolulu, a member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine of Honolulu, and a member of St James Episcopal Church in Waimea.
Private services to be held. Family requests no flowers or koden (monetary gifts).
Harry is survived by daughters Karen (David) Leatherman of Honolulu and Claire Makahi of Waikoloa, son Lowell Lui of Wells NV; brothers Donald Lui of Honolulu, Lambert Lui of Morgan Hills CA, a sister Vivian Stewart of Fairfield CA; grandsons Rev. Daniel (Charmaine) Leatherman of Honolulu, David A. Scooter (Denise) Leatherman of Pearl City Honolulu, and four great granddaughters, Daryan, Annaliese, Faith and Harmony, and several nieces and nephews.
