Harry Kazumi Matsuoka's Obituary
Harry Kazumi Matsuoka, 75, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo, HI on January 16, 1940 and grew up in Amauulu Camp 1. He was a custodian at Hilo High School and on the Road Crew for Hilo Coast Processing. He was a veteran of the US Navy. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9 to 10 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church; a mass will take place at 10 am. An inurnment to follow at Homelani Memorial Park Main Chapel. Family requests casual attire and to omit flowers. He is survived by companion, Harriet Muntz of Hilo, HI; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Fred) Galdones of Pepeekeo, HI and Nancy Corpuz of Hilo, HI; brother, Albert (Priscilla) Matsuoka of Kamuela, HI; son, Daryl Matsuoka of CA; numerous nieces and nephews.
