Hisako Hiraki's Obituary
Hisako Hiraki, 96, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2016 at Pohai Malama. She was born in Kohala, HI on Aug. 24, 1919. She was a retired employee of Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. and a kyodan member of the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji. A visitation will take place on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2 pm to 3 pm at the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji; a memorial service will take place at 3 pm. Family requests casual attire. In lieu of flowers or koden contributions can be made to the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji or Hospice of Hilo. She is survived by 3 daughters, Grace (Paul) Shiota of Honolulu, HI, Carol (Sidney) Fajardo of Hilo, HI, and Jane Hiraki of Honolulu, HI; 3 sons, Carl (Pauline) Hiraki of Hilo, HI, James (Myra) Hiraki of Hilo, HI, and Gene (Sandy) Hiraki of Pahala, HI; sister, Shirley (Corwin) Love of Anaheim, CA; 3 sister-in-laws, Yayoi Sano of Honolulu, HI, Barbara Sano of England, and Tsuyuko (Hideo) Kami of Hilo, HI; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
