Iwao Yamasaki, 94, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Kurtistown, HI. He was a retired employee of HELCO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Private services. In lieu of flowers and koden, contributions may be made to Hawaii Care Choices. He is survived by spouse, Francine Yamasaki of Hilo, HI; daughter, Laurie (Clifton) Ching of Honolulu, HI; son, Ted (Brian) Yamasaki of Hilo, HI; 2 brothers, Terumi Yamasaki of Tennessee and George (Fukue) Yamasaki of Hilo, HI; 2 grandsons; 1 great granddaughter.
