James "Mo" Montrose O'Hara's Obituary
James “Mo” Montrose O’Hara, 92: February 15, 1933 - March 4, 2025; born in Buffalo, New York, peacefully passed in his home, Ocean View, Kau, Hawai’i.
Jim proudly served in THE US Navy AIR TRANSPORT SQUADRON SEVEN, Hickam AFB, Territory of Hawai’i, four years. He attained rank of Aviation Electronics Technician First Class. Jim spent THE rest of his life living on Oah’u, Moloka’i and Hawai’i Island.
Jim is preceded in death by HIS Father: Robert M. O’Hara, Mother: Elizabeth A. Tereska O’Hara and Brother: Robert M. O’Hara Jr. He is survived by hanai sons Christopher Boyles and Lawrence Hoover, the Boyles, Kunipo, and Makua ‘Ohana; many nieces and nephews who fondly remember him as our “Uncle Mo.”
