Jean Ilene Baskett departed her loving family on October 2, 2023.
Born in Walla Walla, Washington on May 11, 1951 to Roberta & Paul Hambleton, she was mother to three children: Iwalani, Amy (predeceased January 15, 2018), and Robert.
As a PBX Operator of 27 years at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Jean was known for her bubbly personality, kindness, genuine positivity, and excellent customer service to everyone she came in contact with from guests to vendors and co-workers. Her hobbies included a passion for reading novels, collecting anything that had butterflies and humming birds, and sharing cute videos of animals, babies, or anything that would make you smile, chuckle, or brighten your day.
She is survived by her Sister Shirley Durrett & brother-in-law Jim Durrett, Brother Steve Hambleton and many nieces and nephews and her two children, Naomi Iwalani Namauu Lauver, Robert Joseph Baskett, and son-in-law Thomas Lauver.
