John Kapalenaokalani Karratti's Obituary
John Kapalenaokalani Karratti, 80, of Hilo, died December 18, 2018 at home. Born in Honolulu, O’ahu, he was a Construction Foreman and Contractor, and was a member of Halepule Ke Ola Hou and New Hope Christian Fellowship, and Waiākea Seniors Kupuna Softball.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2018 at New Hope Christian Fellowship, 840 Kupulau Road, Hilo with a visitation at 10:00 A.M.
and services to follow at 11:00 A.M. Family requests casual attire.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Karratti of Hilo; three sons, Shannon John Karratti of Puna, Daniel Charles (Jezelle) Karratti of Hilo, and Sheldon Brede (Faylynn) Karratti of Hilo; a daughter, Shelly-Ann Kau’ilani (Halton) Chartrand of Hilo; Hānai children, Kaimana (Shana) Ka’apana of O’ahu, Namanu (Jarred) Ka’apana-Suzui of Hilo, Kemomi (Stanson) Ka’apana of Hilo, Ku’i (Kalawai’a) Ka’apana of Waimea, Kaluhi (Kalani) Ka’apana of O’ahu, and Kahuwaiali’i Ka’apana of Hilo; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
