Jon Clark Mossman of Kamuela, age 60 took his final breathe on Sunday June 9, 2024 at Hilo Hospital, Listening to music and holding hands with his daughters.
Jon born on June 18, 1963 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents Robert and Martha Lehua Mossman of Oahu.
Jon is a graduate of Kaiser high school. He has one serviving sibling Raynard "Dee" Mossman of Kamuela.
Professionally he's held a variety of careers like the for Lead Convention services at the Hyatt. He's worked for Three Slaughterhouses on the Big Island, and then was a commercial Fishermen. The ocean was his office and every day was Aloha Friday.
Jon was a provider, a humble Giant and a well of knowledge that will pass on in the hearts of all who have met him and heard his stories.
Married to Tina Mossman and into the family of Calvin "Pika" and Lorraine Lindsey of Kamuela. His children are Keoni, Tanea, Laua'e (son in law Sean Smith) and Hoaka Mossman of Kamuela. Grandchildren from his daughters are Tahiana, Noa, Teegan, Sam, Kai, Slade and Noe.
His life will be celebrated at a later date where his ashes will be spread per his wishes in front of the Puako hale.
Jon's spirit will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and hold tight to the bonds of Family.
