Joseph Luahine Huddy's Obituary
Joseph “Uncle Joe” Luahine Huddy, of Kamuela, HI, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Kilauea, Kauai on July 7, 1937. He was a retired firefighter for the Honolulu Fire Dept., a police officer for the Honolulu Police Dept., a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the Waimea Paniolo Softball Team and Imiola Congregational Church. He was a graduate of Kamehameha High School, Class of 1955. A visitation will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Imiola Congregational Church; a Celebration of Life will follow from 10:30 am to 12 noon. Ashes to be scattered at a later date. Family requests casual attire. He is survived by spouse, Charlotte Huddy of Kamuela, HI; daughter, Desiree (Logan) Huddy-Akau of Kamuela, HI; sister, Margaret (Ronald) Brack of Ewa Beach, HI; 2 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
