Dearest Beautiful cousins....Our deepest sympathy and condolences to you all. We loved Aunty so much. She was such a blessing in our lives. She always had so much spunk and energy, and would light up our homes every time she visited us in Honolulu. She was "The Bomb" of an aunty! So beautiful inside and out. Always loving her hair and jeans. So opposite of our mom, her only sister. But together, they made the perfect pair, and now they're together in heaven. We could go on and on about how beautiful she was and how much fun she was. But we just would like to say that we pray for peace and comfort in your hearts in this trying time. And that our Lord and Savior Yahshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah) (in Hebrew), will lead and guide your every step, and provide for all your needs and bless you all always... All our love.....Cousins Pam (Washington) Spells, Ronald Spells and ohana.....
P.S. Our children will never forget how she went out of her way to come and see them minister in song at Glad Tidings Church in Hilo. And when they made their CD, she was recognized on the CD in the "Thank You's".
My cousins, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother, an aunty of my heart who I have such wonderful memories of. This makes me so sad to think that I will never see her again. The last time I saw her was this past summer at the post office in Honomu and at that time she did look frail but she still smiled and talked to me and she still called me baby like she has done for the past 54 years. She's the only one who did that and it made me feel so special. She taught me how to eat Hawaiian food and sour poi, I remember her singing to her Hawaiian albums as a young girl at your house, and getting dressed for work, her hair was always so fabulous. And she ALWAYS had a kiss for me, no matter my age. I will truly miss her but she will always remain in my heart with memories of my dad, your dad and now your mom. I send you all the love in my heart at this time and before it's too late...I love you all. Your cousin, Renee'
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom, "Martha" as we knew her in Keaukaha. I remember when she worked at the Keaukaha Store on the corner of Baker and Todd Ave. she is a wonderful person and will be missed. God bless your Ohana and give you comfort in this sad time. Aloha
