Pualani (Aunty Pua) Kauila
Aloha Kakou,
My name is Pualani Kauila and I am the daughter of Robert and Kamali Kauila.
Tin Cho as I knew him was the son of our favorite Aunty. Aunty Pheobe is the cousin of my father Robert Kauila of Lana'i Island.
Tin Cho was to me the one who would coral the family and have us all in one place for talkstory, play music,and just be together. I hold him very close to my memory as my handsome cousin and when I needed a hug or an incouraging word, he would smile and say "as_ ok, I love you, and I would cry. His hands, his heart was always full of love and comfort for me.
I was the kid, and then we reconnected through Chris and I saw my cousin again at Greg's home and those old feelings and memories came back. I never met any other of his children in person except for Chris and Greg, but I have met Julie, Christie, Malia on the phone and thru zoom and texts but I feel very close to you all, because of your dad,grandpa, papa and my handsome cousin.
Remember to always love each other and should you need a helping hand, I am here for all of you. I love you all, and may Ke Akua bless and keep you all in his loving and healing hands.
