Kaleomanaoluna Lionel Kekipi, Sr., 72, of Pahoa, died June 14, 2026, at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, Hawai‘i he was an Army Veteran and retired Groundskeeper and Field Operator.
Celebration of Life 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Hawaiian Shores Community Stables, 15-859 Kahakai Blvd., Pahoa. Casual attire requested.
He is survived by wife Rebecca “Iwa” Kekipi, daughters Pearl (Ricky) Leonard, Audrey Kahawai-Kekipi, sons Kaleomanaoluna (Sabrina) Kekipi, Jr., Joseph (Tiffany) Kekipi, and 21 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; numerous siblings, nieces, and nephews.
