Aloha Steve,
Just read your mom's obituary in today's Star-Advertiser. Very sorry that she's gone. She was a wonderful woman and a good friend for a long time. I have many great memories of her and Isabel starting from the old campus when the library was in one of the old shops. I'm sure you remember the trials she had just trying to keep everything dust free. It's my loss that I didn't maintain contact with her over the last decade and more. Her library at KCC continues her legacy: no card catalog any more but otherwise it looks much the same, although it has finally expanded to include the area that used to be Administrative offices.
In any case I just wanted to let you know that many of us here at KCC have fond memories of your mom and remember her as a good friend. Aloha, Andy
