Kenneth Loa's Obituary
Kenneth "Pops" Loa,72, a retired Hawaiian Electric Co. lineman, passed away on July 3, 2022 in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Kenneth was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa on August 27, 1949.
He is survived by his wife, De Ette Stevens Loa of Kailua-Kona; sons, Kenneth "Skip" Loa of Keopu Mauka, Jason Loa of Kailua-Kona, and David (Leinani) Loa of Honaunau; and daughter Kea Loa of Kailua-Kona. Kenneth is also survived by his mother, Maria Sina Loa of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister Doris McFadzen of Auckland, New Zealand; and brother, John Loa Sr of Kaneohe, Hawaii. He is also survived by sister-in-laws Jerileah Loa and Willa Loa both of Honolulu, Hawaii; and brother-in-law Richard Stevens of Hilo, Hawaii. Kenneth also leaves behind 28 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren as well as numerous hanai brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, children and grandchildren.
Friends may call on the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kailua-Kona on Saturday, September 3, 2022 beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a 10:00 A.M. memorial service followed by a celebration of life at Kahalu'u Beach Park.
