Kimi Nakamoto, 90, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Honomu, HI on Feb. 14, 1924. She was a seamstress for Kamehameha Garments and Hilo Hatties. She was a member of the Hilo Taishoji Soto Mission and Hilo Taishoji Soto Mission Fujinkai. Private services were held. No koden. She is survived by 2 daugthers, Lorraine (David Cinti) Nakamoto of Sequim, WA and Jeanne (Donroy) Uehara of Hilo, HI; son, Bert Nakamoto of Honolulu, HI; sister, Takeko (Henry) Nakazato of Honolulu, HI; 1 grandchild.
